Better understand naturopathy
This term comes from the words "nature" and "path", which mean "the path of nature".
Naturopathy is a method of health and healing that uses natural means and considers the person as a whole, integrating physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects.
The naturopath does not make a diagnosis, but rather carries out a health check to identify the root causes of illness and remedy them through the symptoms.
The 5 pillars of naturopathy
VITALISM:
It is a life force that resides within each of us. It is our body's ability to regenerate itself in the event of attack.
HOLISM:
The patient must be considered in all his dimensions (energetic, mental, physical, emotional, social and spiritual).
CAUSALISM:
Look for the deep and primary causes of the disease in order to offer comprehensive care for the person.
HUMORISM:
This is the “science of moods”. This is not a question of states of mind, but of the different organic fluids of the body (blood, lymph, etc.).
HYGIENISM:
It is the art of living taking into account the different elements: dietary, physical, emotional and psycho-emotional hygiene.

Who is naturopathy for?
Naturopathy is for everyone and at all ages:
Infants and young children: to prevent or treat common disorders observed after birth or during growth. For example, in the case of frequent regurgitation or recurrent ENT and respiratory infections.
Children and adolescents: for regular monitoring throughout their growth. For example, in the event of growth problems, chronic fatigue, attention problems or menstrual disorders in young women.
Adults: to improve health by stimulating the body's self-healing capacities, in the treatment of various functional disorders or as a complement to traditional medicine in the monitoring of chronic pathologies.
For example, in the case of bone and joint diseases, cardiovascular diseases, ENT, skin diseases, nervous system diseases, metabolic disorders or in the case of digestive, ocular or genito-urinary disorders.
The elderly: to improve their general state of health and make it easier to manage chronic pathologies. Naturopathy can be beneficial in cases of joint pain and stiffness, osteoarthritis, arthritis or osteoporosis, for example.
Sportsmen and women: whether as a preventive measure to optimise performance or as a treatment for mobility problems associated with sport, to minimise impact and improve performance, whatever their level of physical activity.
Pregnant women: to alleviate the discomforts associated with the physical changes of pregnancy, ensure the good health of the unborn baby and prepare for childbirth. For example, in the event of back pain and to prepare for the birth during the last trimester, as well as for monitoring the first few months of the child's life.
Couples: who wish to have a child, to increase fertility and the chances of having a child naturally.
People wishing to lose or gain weight: to return to a normal body weight. Naturopathy helps you regain vitality, physical well-being and mental balance, while respecting your body's physiological needs.
People suffering from illnesses such as cancer or autoimmune diseases: in conjunction with medical treatment, to relieve and support the body.
